“Most great learning happens in groups. Collaboration is the stuff of growth.”
- Sir Ken Robinson
Our second graders had a really fun and meaningful learning session at Green Campearlier this week. A lot of activities ranging from coconut-tree climbing, shelter making, cooperative games and pizza making took place to develop their leadership through outdoor adventure, challenge and exploration.
Today, we celebrate the birthday of the super amazing and kind Head of Development, Pak Chris T. Many happy returns and enjoy your day, Pak Awesome!
We’re also excited to announce Gunter Pauli, author of the Blue Economy and sustainability extraordinaire, as the 2015 High School graduation speaker; and as equally as exciting, we will be welcoming Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots Indonesia Coordinator, Mari Raidal, to our school. She will be working with us to further develop the R&S Indonesia connections. Such a huge opportunity for our school to take part in the global Roots & Shoots movement! Read more on both news in this week’s issue.
Also mark your calendar for interesting workshops, courses and of course, the Green SuperCamp we are going to host soon. Last but not least, don’t forget to take some time to cast your vote for the SuperCampofficers and join the Graduate Profile parent dialogue this Wednesday & Thursday. Many exciting stuff we got going on this week, enjoy reading the newsletter! Read more
