You have to taste a culture to understand it”

Nyepi is just around the corner and we are super excited for one of the most fun events happening at Green School next Thursday, The Green Ogoh-Ogoh festival! Our kids will wear their own costume and carry their sculpture around the neighbourhood while chanting and sing their class yells to celebrate the Balinese New Year eve. If any of you parents want to know more about Nyepi and the Ogoh-Ogoh celebration, come and join our parent workshop next Thursday morning about the cultural importance of Nyepi.
Equally exciting news comes from the High School with the acceptance of Emma Bell (Grade 12) at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Science, one of the best nursing programmes in the United States. Selamat, Emma! We are so proud of you. Also, congratulations are in order for Ibu Kate Druhan, as newly elected chair of the GSPA and Ibu Amara Samata & Ibu Uta Riese as the vice chairs. Now we have GSPA officers who will be integral partners nurturing the development of Green School.
