What an amazing Green Ogoh-Ogoh Festival we had today! All grades paraded around the Banjar with their own scary (and some cute) green sculptures – by green, we mean eco-friendly green. Congrats to grade 4B who won the award of the Greenest Ogoh-Ogoh. We surely had a nice and meaningful day as we celebrate one of the most important days in Bali, Nyepi.
Talking about congratulations, we have so many people to take our hats off to this week. Becca Stine, our High School student is accepted into Colorado College in the US, a liberal arts school with a long history and strong focus on global citizenship. There’s also our high achiever basketball girls who won the finals of the BSSA play off yesterday. Who else? Sweania from the High School won 5 gold and 1 bronze in BSSA swimming!! Well done girls.
In this issue, you’ll see that we have a jam-packed events lined up for the community from the Live & Silent Auction + Cabaret, Suara Rimba Art Exhibition, Science and Spirituality workshop for parents, Contra Mestra Capoeira Workshops and last but not least, the Sustainability from the Ground Up event happening end of May.
